Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

I want new albums from these bands/artists/groups more than I want a new BMW Turbo. It has been too long since they hit released any new material and I am getting uneasy and modify a bit ornery. So c’mon guys, get it together. Get your ____ into the flat and record some new material for your fans or else we are going to advise on and forget most you.

Spank Rock

Way back in 2006 beat Rock, the Philadelphia duo prefabricated up of Naeem Juwan and producer XXXchange released one of the most innovative, fun and exciting hip-hop releases with “YoYoYoYoYo”, a mix of hypersexual lyrics that would make 50 Cent blush and electro/rap hybrid beats that would make left turns and detours at the drop of a hat. There hasn’t been a louder and more brutally in your face dance rap album since “YoYoYoYoYo” and the group has done little since the release, putting out a mixtape in 2007 but otherwise laying low. Producer XXXchange  has worked with other artists same Santigold and Kid Sister but no word has come out most the group working on a scrutiny album, hopefully it is rather rather than later.

Cut Copy

In primeval 2008 Cut Copy poor into the environs with their intermediate album, “In Ghost Colours” attending at the perfect time in the music environs when the indie kids were getting onto the dance floor, Daft Punk was having a large revival and the pop music environs was movement away from guitars to electronic instruments again. Cut Copy played same its album cover, all kaledescopic colours and sounds and hearty vocals most love, expiration and dancing. It was a hugely fun album, perfect to put on before heading out to the club on a Sat period and in need of a follow up ASAP. The band has been stilly the time year so hopefully that effectuation they are back in the flat crafting a scrutiny that would be meet as good if not better than “In Ghost Colours.”

has anyone ever seen a negative review from absolutepunk.net ?

Monday, July 26th, 2010

its disturbed every album ive ever seen reviewed by them has gotten not just beatific but praise reviews. i understand there big supporters of deciding penalization , punk , emo etc. still there are a lot of terrible terrible unoriginal poor sounding punk and emo bands nowadays. yet all the albums by these cookie quarrier bandwagon artists get great reviews. is it gerally like this with every deciding zine ? in my opinion with the subject everything produced isnt ever beatific or great , theres a lot of bad films penalization and art ..but these online “zines” think everything recorded is the greatest which kind of diminishes the few records that are actually great.
